Boku No Hero Academia 6th Season 22
Alex Osborn of IGN gave the first season a nine out of ten rating, praising it for its action, story, and characters, while criticizing its villains for being underdeveloped. Osborn also stating that "its excellent character design only elevates the memorable cast even further." He concluded that "the first season of My Hero Academia delivers thirteen episodes of fantastic action, elevated by a heartfelt story that's wrapped around a core cast of memorable and relatable characters."[325] In a review for the second season, Osborn praised it as "truly something special", complimenting the animation, character developments, and the emotional weight of the season. He called it as "one of the best TV shows" he has ever watched.[326] Tom Speelman of Polygon praised the anime for its animation, action and characters. Speelman also stating that compared to the other superhero teams like X-Men or Legion of Super-Heroes, My Hero Academia's biggest asset is its huge cast, with even minor characters having a "fun look" or "interesting personality" for readers to latch onto. He noted that it has similarities to the other shows and comics like Teen Titans, Runaways or Young Justice, though its closest thematic analogue is the forgotten (but awesome) 2005 Disney film Sky High.[327]
Boku no Hero Academia 6th Season 22
Hero Fes is an annual event that is scheduled to promote My Hero Academia, and upcoming seasons of the anime series. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the event was not held in 2020 and 2021; however, it returns in 2022 to deliver more news about the upcoming sixth season of the show. The sixth season of My Hero Academia has been touted as the climactic final war between the heroes and the villains led by the newly-awakened Tomura Shigaraki. This upcoming war arc has been teased throughout the fifth season of the anime, which aired from March to September 2021.
My Hero Academia's first season aired in April 2016, running for 13 episodes between April and June 2016. The second season premiered the following year in April, running for 25 episodes between April and September 2017; a trend which maintained for the following season 3, which arrived in April 2018, and season 4 which ran from October 2019 to April 2020. This sixth season comes highly anticipated as the My Hero Academia narrative comes to a climactic conflict between the newly-coalesced Paranormal Liberation Front, the heroes of the association, and the students of U.A. High.
This week's episode of Crunchyroll's My Hero Academia, "Friend," must be one of the best episodes of the show in its totality so far. Not only does Deku's badass exponentially grows with each tear of his raggedy costume, but we start getting deeper into the heroes' fragile mental state. It is a perspective the show has not really delved into before this season, and it is doing so pretty successfully, showing us how much of a toll it takes to be a hero. It shows that heroes are still humans after all and in need of a support system as well. This episode successfully breaks our hearts and gives us just enough hope to know there is light at the end of the tunnel. 041b061a72
